We are proud to be part of the Sunshine Coast Sustainability Program, partnering with Reforest to plant trees and restore native habitat in the region. We’re currently planting 11 trees every month, restoring 7m² of native habitat and removing 280kg of CO2.

A biosphere is a location, recognised by UNESCO as an area of natural beauty where people live and work. Biospheres are places, just like our region, where environmental conservation sits alongside responsible development and sustainable living. It means development is carefully planned to protect and enhance our environment, culture, lifestyle, and economy for future generations, aligning with the Sunshine Coast’s vision to be Australia’s most sustainable region: Healthy, Smart, Creative.

We are supporting the Doonan Community Restoration Project. Managed by Sunshine Coast Council, this project is dedicated to restoring the biodiversity of the Doonan Creek Environment Reserve, engaging local volunteers in planting native species to enhance habitat for threatened species including koalas, glossy black cockatoos, and grey-headed flying foxes, and support long-term ecological resilience.
The project is part of the long-running BushCare program, which has engaged over 1,700 volunteers annually for more than 30 years through community planting events and school programs. On 22 July 2026, some of our own Aquaduck Sunshine Coast team joined the planting festival, getting hands-on and helping restore this vital habitat.
