Q. How much is the Aquaduck tour?
A. Our 1hour Aquaduck River Cruise and city tour is $42 Adult, $32 Child, $39 Senior, $138 Family (2ad & 2 ch).
Q. Where is the Aquaduck Sunshine Coast departure location?
A. Aquaduck departs from the carpark of the Wharf on Parkyn Parade. This is adjacent to SEALIFE Sunshine Coast
Q. What time is check in?
A. Check-in time is 15 minutes prior to departure.
Q. Do I need to pay in advance? Or can I pay on the day?
A. Paying in advance either over the phone or online will secure your seats for the tour. If you prefer not to pay in advance you can come to Aquaduck HQ on Cavill Avenue and we will book you on the next available tour.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. We require 48 hours notice to cancel your booking and provide you with a refund. If you contact us inside 48hrs but outside 24 hours of your ride we can reschedule your tour for you for no charge. Within 24 hours, full charges apply and no refunds will be given. There are no refunds if you no-show or are late for your departure so please ensure you check-in with us at least 15minutes prior to your scheduled departure.
Q. I’m sick, can I reschedule?
A. Yes, you can call us 24hrs prior and we will reschedule your ride for you. We hope you feel better soon.
Q. Where is the closest and best value car parking?
A.The closest car parking is at Park & Go Mooloolaba on the Corner of Smith Street and First Avenue, Mooloolaba, Qld, 4557
Enter Via – Brisbane Rd (next to the Colombian Cafe) or Smith Street off the Muraban Street from Walan Street.

Q. How old do you have to be to go on the Aquaduck?
A. People of any age can ride the Aquaduck, even babies. Child rates are available for 2-16 years. 0-1 years are free on their parent’s lap.
Q. How long does the tour go for?
A. Your Aquaduck tour lasts for 1 hour. Its start and end point is the same location at Aquaduck HQ, 36 Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise
Q. Do you operate if it’s raining?
A. Yes we do. The vessel is fully covered and in wet conditions, we have clear pull-down sides to keep the water out.
Q. Do you provide a discount for Companion card holders?
Q. Will you get wet on the tour?
A. No, you will not get wet on the Aquaduck ride.
Q. Do you have storage for luggage and strollers?
A. Unfortunately we don’t have storage for luggage or strollers at our departure location. You may find storage locker at The Wharf.
Q. Do you offer hotel pick up?
A. No, we do not. We are located centrally in the heart of Surfers Paradise and only a short walk from the major hotels.
Q. Can I take a baby onboard?
A. Yes you can. If your baby is 0-1 years they can ride for free on your lap. Just please let us know when you make your booking. Children 2-16years may purchase our child rate ticket.
Q. Is it safe? What if I can’t swim?
A. Yes, the Aquaduck is very safe. You don’t need to swim as we will be keeping you onboard the whole time. We also carry life-jackets onboard in case of emergency and our trained staff will assist in this situation.
Q. What language/s is your tour commentary in?
A. Aquaduck tours (GOLD COAST ONLY) all include a live commentary in English spoken by your tour guide. We also offer a complimentary audio guide (access via your wifi-enabled personal device) in 7 languages – Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean & Spanish. You will need to have your device charged and bring your headphones, or you can purchase headphones at reception for $4. Complimentary wifi access is provided on board to access the audio guide.
Q. Do you have foreign translators?
A. Please discuss your needs with our friendly reservations team. We also have our key safety information translated into Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and Japanese languages. These are kept on-board please ask staff to assist.
Q. Does it cost extra for kids to drive the Duck?
A. No. It does not. Once we are on the water, the skipper will offer all children the opportunity to have a turn at driving the Duck if they wish. If they choose to do so, they will be presented with the Aquaduck Captains Certificate personalised with their name. This is free of charge and part of the Aquaduck experience.
Q. What payment types do you accept?
A. Aquaduck payment options – Visa, Mastercard, Cash, Paypal, Afterpay, Alipay, Wechat Pay and China Union Pay.
Q. Do you sell gift vouchers?
A. Aquaduck sells gift vouchers for all ticket types and merchandise. Gift Vouchers are valid for 3 years.
Q. Is it wheelchair accessible?
A. The Aquaduck vessels are not wheelchair accessible, unfortunately. There are 5 steps to climb into the Aquaduck. If you can do the stairs our team are happy to assist you into the duck. Further information is available on our accessibility statement.
Q. Are service dogs allowed on board?
A. Service dogs are permitted on board. Further information is available on our accessibility statement.
Q. Can we eat or drink on the duck?
A. Water bottles are accepted onboard, however, no other food or other drinks.
Q. Where are the closest toilets?
A. The closest toilets are at The Wharf.
Q. Is the Aquaduck ride a river cruise or a city tour?
A. lucky for you it’s both. As we are a bus and a boat you get two tours for the price of one. The Aquaduck tour spends approx 4omins on the water ad 20mins on the road.
