Aussie World
Aussie World on the Sunshine Coast is home to a variety of rides and attractions that include family-favourites, adrenalin-pumping fun, and all new experiences. Located at 73 Frizzo Road, Palmview, this attraction forms the gateway to the Sunshine Coast.
If you’re looking for action-packed thrills, you won’t want to miss the Dingo Racer. This is the second new major attraction to open at Aussie World within a year. Dingo Racer is family-friendly; however it is considered a thrill ride due to its speed, its sharp turns and the car’s unique ability to spin 360 degrees while moving along the track at up to 72 km/hour. There is never a dull moment on the Dingo Racer spinning coaster. As well as the thrills, the ride tells a story about the journey of our resident Dingo, who is trying to escape from the Mad Max themed attraction. This is an extreme ride with a height limit of over 140 cm and is perfect for all the thrill seekers out there. The coaster track reaches a height of 14 metres and the sharp turns and spinning motion make this thrill ride one that is not for the faint hearted!

New Attraction
The other new attraction is the SX360 – Australia’s tallest and fastest 360-degree pendulum – and the Sunshine Coast’s first tier 1 thrill ride. It has further expanded the park’s experiences to cater to all types of theme park enthusiasts, from toddlers to families and crazy thrill-seekers. The SX360 reaches speeds of up to 80km/h while launching 32 metres into the air and completing 360° inversions with up to 5G’s of force. This is a never-before-seen feature on this style of ride in Australia. This ride as well has a height limit of over 140 cm and is suitable for thrill seekers.
Enjoy the family-friendly rides that will get you soaked and make you dizzy, plus simulators and slides, bumps and coasters! There is enough here to keep the whole family entertained for hours.

Mayhem Maze
Sitting in silence on top of the hill you’ll find the Mayhem Maze – a haunted old asylum that harbours a chilling secret. With surprises around every corner, Mayhem awaits those brave enough to venture in…so please ensure your kids aren’t scared easily. There is an age limit of over 12 years old to enter.

Other Aussie World Attractions
Who doesn’t love dodgem car action!? In the Rev Shed, you can relive this age old fun of bumping and dodging your family and friends in your own car….don’t try doing this at home!
Don’t be fooled by the supposed calmness of Ballroom Blitz. This will throw you 15 metres in the air, while the wave swinger spins and rocks you round and round with your legs dangling in the wind! This is perfect for family fun times.
Other attractions like mini golf, the hall of mirrors and side show alley are all perfect places to relive your youth and teach the kids a thing or two about your skill levels.
For a bit of wet action you can take to The Plunge. Guests climb aboard hollowed-out logs propelled by flowing water through a twisting and turning waterway, and then head skyward before suddenly plunging down the big drop. This is where you will hear the screams of both the onlookers and the riders.
There are plenty of treats on offer at the Fun Cafe. Hotdogs and enormous burgers are sure to tempt you but there are also salads and wraps to choose from. Don’t stress though, there are many sweet tooth options with Ben & Jerry ice-cream.

The Banana Bender Pub
The Banana Bender Pub is Sunshine Coast’s most unique pub!
Previously called the Ettamogah pub this could be Australia’s quirkiest pub because it offers something very different, yet uniquely Australian. The Banana Bender Pub is a place of fun where they don’t take themselves too seriously. Featuring a new beer garden and menu they’ve committed to delivering greater choice and comfort for patrons.
You can check out what’s coming up at Aussie World’s What’s On page so you won’t miss any exciting events. Aussie World is open seven days a week from 10am to 4pm during the school holidays.
