At Aquaduck Safaris, we are committed to providing an experience that is accessible and inclusive of people of many abilities. Our rides are accessible to people with a range of physical, sensory and intellectual abilities. Please speak with our team who can provide further information and advice.
In this statement, we aim to accurately describe our facilities and services to give you the confidence when you visit us that we are able to meet your specific requirements. Accessible Car Parking Twelve (12) disabled parking spots are available at the Bruce Bishop car park, which is located on the corner of Beach Road and Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise – six on the ground floor just past the Beach Road entry, and six on lower level 1, just in front of the lifts. All vehicles must display a current disabled parking label. Interstate and overseas labels are also accepted. Vehicles with this permit will be exempt from fees. See the car park staff during office hours or security staff after hours, and present your parking ticket along with your valid disabled parking permit to obtain an exit pass free of charge.

Exit the car park onto Beach Road, cross Beach Road and go through the arcade at 9 Beach Road (where subway is), go through the park and you are on Cavill Avenue, our departure is approximately 50 metres to the right.

All customers can enter the departure lounge by a ramp, the minimal opening width within the departure terminal area is 110cm.
Storage of belongings Customer bags and belongings are stored securely in our departure office during the trip. There is space for strollers/ wheelchairs and other accessibility aids to be left behind whilst on the ride.
Hearing / Language Passenger safety instructions are available in written format. Written safety instructions are available in – English, Japanese, Chinese.
Aquaduck Safety Brief
While on land please keep all your limbs inside the bus as we do travel quite close to trees and signs. As part of Marine Transport requirements, floatation devices are located on the roof; they are equipped with a hydrostatic release system, life jackets are under the front seats and in the ceiling lockers, emergency equipment is located in the locker under the rear seats and there are 2 bright orange life rings down the back.
Boarding the Vessel
The Aquaduck is not wheelchair friendly. If you are able to be assisted onto the Duck, we can mind the wheelchair at our departure office. Customers need to climb six steps to board the Aquaduck. There is a rope handrail on each side to assist with your boarding.
All boat drivers are trained in First Aid and CPR.
There are male and female public and accessible toilets across the road at the Circle on Cavill. Access to these facilities is behind Dumpling on Noodle eatery to the right of Woolworths
Service animals are welcome in our departure terminal and on the Aquaduck.
Aquaduck Safaris offers a 10% discount to carers card holders when accompanying their companion on the Aquaduck.
